That difference matters. It changes what you'd sensibly do. You're not replacing a drained hormone. You're helping a feedback loop find its shape again.

Translated: nervous system regulation isn't the soft option in the plan. It is the plan — and it directly links back to gut-brain signaling and digestive health.
Three places to start, in the order that tends to work:
